    William Krueger

    President

Bill joined the McDonough Board of Directors in 1996 and served as tournament chairman for a number of years. Bill was born in Camden, NJ in 1950 but moved at a very young age to Franklin, NH and graduated from Franklin High School in 1967. He played on the golf team all four years while in high school as the seventh man on a six-man team.

Bill graduated from Case Institute of Technology in 1971 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has spent the majority of his career in the Pulp and Paper Industry working for various equipment manufacturers. Bill did take a few years off from Pulp and Paper as an owner of a packaged ice company and after selling that business the owner of a retail hardware and lumber yard. His retirement in 2023 has provided ample opportunity for Bill and his wife Marcia to travel, and for Bill to play plenty of golf.

After high school Bill did not play golf again until he sold his ice company in 1986. Eleven years into his marriage, Bill’s wife never knew Bill knew what a golf club was until he joined Concord Country Club in Concord, NH.

Bill’s passion for the game grew quickly and at his best carried a 5 handicap. Bill realized that he wanted to give back to the game as much as he wanted to play. To that end he joined the Concord Country Club Board of Directors in 1992 and has served off and on since then. Bill also became a member of the NHGA Board of Directors in 2006 where he served as their President from 2012 to 2014.

In 1992 Bill met Jim Kinhan, a long time McDonough Board member, and through that friendship joined the McDonough Scholarship Foundation Board of Directors. Bill was successful in getting Concord Country Club to go to direct billing for McDonough, making CCC one of the leading donors to McDonough. Bill currently serves as the President of the McDonough Board, promoting McDonough throughout the state through his connections at the NHGA.

    Laurie Ethier

    Vice President

Nashua Country Club and the sport of golf have had a life-long presence for Laurie.  She began playing at a young age, participating in numerous NHWGA and NEGA events.  She went on to play competitively at the collegiate level while at the University of South Carolina and was still in college when she won 1985 NH Women’s State Amateur Championship.

Laurie was the first volunteer coach for the First Tee Program at Nashua Country Club, where she taught golf to kids from the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua.   She has coached Junior Varsity Golf Team Coach at Bishop Guertin High School for ten years.   Additionally, she is a long-time volunteer with Special Olympics in NH, has served on fundraising committees for local nonprofit organizations, and has held various positions on numerous membership committees at Nashua Country Club over the years.

In addition to serving as current Vice President of the McDonough Board of Directors, Laurie serves on the board of the Nashua Education Foundation.

Laurie was long involved with her family’s catering business, McNulty & Foley.  She currently works with her husband Dan at his accounting firm, Morin-Ethier, CPA.  Laurie and Dan live in Nashua, and have two adult children, Megan and Tommy.

Her husband Dan is a past McDonough Scholar.

Tyler lives in Auburn, NH, with his wife, Angela, daughter, Caroline, and their family dog, Layla. In addition to a deep appreciation for all things golf, Tyler is an avid skier and sports enthusiast. Tyler currently serves as Board Secretary.

He was proud to join the McDonough Board of Directors in 2015 to give back to the Foundation that helped support him through college.  He sits on the McDonough Marketing Committee.  As a youth, Keith grew up fascinated with the game of golf, which started with his first range season alongside his Dad when he was 10. This was further cemented with several years playing at Derryfield Country Club and then at Manchester Country Club for over 15 years. He was fortunate to be taught the game by Stan Lencki at the end of his legendary career at MCC.

Keith is a Principal at CUBE 3, a nationally recognized Architecture, Interior Design, and Planning firm, with a demonstrated history of Business Development, Marketing, and Project Delivery. He is an avid golfer who regularly competes in New Hampshire Golf Association events throughout the summer. If he’s not in the office, you’ll probably find him on the golf course.
